A Commitment To Brighter Futures

Parents Area

Enrollment

All services offered to families are free of charge. Achievement Academy receives funding from United Way and the Charter School to cover the cost of services for these children.

If you are interested in Achievement Academy's Birth to Three program that serves at-risk children, please contact our Lakeland office at (863) 683-6504.

To enroll in Achievement Academy's Charter School, the parent/guardian must complete and mail an application at the Lakeland office. The Charter School serves special education children from birth through six years of age.

Special Events

The Achievement Acadmey has special events for our students and families.

Family Fun Nights

Children and parents enjoy evenings of fun through activities that bring all of our families together.

Fishing Derby

An annual Fishing Derby is held in April by Tommy Harris that allows all children at the Achievement Academy the opportunity to fish at Tenoroc Fish Management in Lakeland. Thanks to sponsors and generous members of the community this event has been successful for the past 11 years.

Carnival

Every year, the Achievement Academy parents' group sponsors a Carnival for current and former students . Through the generosity of donations from the community, the event gives our special needs children the opportunity to experience a "day at the carnival" with games, animals, food, fun, and prizes. This year the carnival will be held on Saturday, May 3rd from 10:00-2:00 at the Tigertown Hanger #2.

Graduation

Since 1997 with the opening of the Achievement Academy Charter School, we have held a yearly graduation ceremony for each child that leaves the Academy. With each of our graduates dressed in their blue caps and gowns, we bid a bittersweet good-bye as they will always have a special place in our hearts.
