During the year Achievement Academy has several fund-raisers that help support the Academy's programs.

"Chip-in for Children" Golf Tournament

The Achievment Academy's 8th Annual "Chip-In for Children" Golf tournament was Friday, October 26, 2007 at the Eaglebrooke Golf & Country Club in Lakeland. Chairing the event was former NBA All-Star, Otis Birdsong. The level of sponsorships ranged from a Cart Sponsorship of $50 to a Hole in One Sponsor of $5,000.  Golfers enjoyed a great day of golf and then a dinner and live auction that all benefited the programs of the Achievement Academy. Pro-Am Tennis Tournament

This years 29th Annual Pro-Am Tennis Tournament is March 7-9, 2008 and is held at Lakeland Yacht and Country Club and Grasslands Golf & Country Club. Doris Trohn, board member has chaired this event for the past 23 years. This weekend-long April event kicks off Friday evening with a BBQ and player pairings. Pro and amateur tennis players gather from throughout the state to compete in men's and women's doubles competition. The Academy offers sponsorships from $100 to $5,000, advertisements for the program ranging from $20-$110, proceeds from three auctions held Friday night, and an amateur players fee in order to raise funds.

Pigeon Pull Event & Evening Party

The 3rd Annual Pigeon Pull Event & Evening Party will held Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 2pm. The location to be determined. This is one of our fastest growing events. Tony Turbeville, board member, chairs this event with Adam Airth, board member. A team of four shooters enjoys the skeet shoot, after the shoot a party for the sponsors and shooters is held. Sponsorships range from $800-$5,000.
